So how can Pinterest help you accomplish the keys to becoming a successful authorpreneur with a successful blog? Let me explain.
When you finish your blog post, you create a graphic element that represents the message of your next blog post. Then you pin this graphic on Pinterest from your website, and like a miracle, the pinned image carries with it the originating link.
Now whenever someone searches for your topic, they’ll find your graphic connected to your blog with the information they need. And they’ll travel to your self-hosted blog.

Pinterest is all about targeting your specific niche. On Pinterest, you can follow people or topics. By allowing people not just to follow other people but topics, Pinterest users can control their newsfeed in a very customized way, so they only get the information they are interested in.
If you wrote a book in a specific niche, users interested in that niche will find your image, your book blog and website, and ultimately your book.
This can also work for fiction authors provided you create boards that reflect the era or historical context for your book or the clothing or meals your characters might enjoy.
